Who will be next Republican presidential candidate?

If Trump won't then that person who will be the candidate will seem to be in an impossible position because he will either have to be completely subservient to Trump or face the backlash from these crazies. Like, Pence tried to push himself to the front but he is receiving backlash from Trumpsters.
And even if they find someone so subservient to Trump that you couldn't call him Trump 2, he will still probably have to face the backlash from Trump who is so narcissistic that he will be jealous of the attention that the new guy is receiving.
So it seems it could only be Donald Trump or someone from his family.
What do you think?

Either the arsehole from Florida or the arsehole from Texas. And if Biden doesn’t turn things around, expect one of them to win.

For all his blathering about it, he’s not likely to run. Even if he does, the independents who voted for him the last two times aren’t likely to do so again. There are also a lot of indications that, apart from the hard core whack-a-loons, Republicans are tired of Trump (not Trumpism, but Trump).

Trump was very effective at giving the conservative Republicans a very effective conveyor belt of conservative federal judges. At least privately, some of the poohbahs are chomping at the bit for Round #2.
And yet they didn’t chomp hard enough for that second round when they had the chance a year and a half ago.
