Ha! Most political violence has come from the right-wing nut jobs. We don't need to go down that path.

Yep, we can open carry shouldn't bother them.

I am  horrified at how much of a backslide America has fallen into because of the GOP and the orange fuckface. I don't recognize this country I live in. It feels like pre WW2 Europe and I happen to live in the asshole country.

This is some scary shit that is going on.

The Republicans played the abortion card as a moral issue, while the Federalist Society wanted Constitutional reconstruction, as if what Washington & Friends thought about their World is somehow still relevant to Ours. The Trump Wagon gave the United States the nutty SCOTUS justices that are presenting We the People with this comical sideshow.

Time to get in gear, folks. People are already started to talk about this where I work.

I don't think we should resort to violence, but we should arm ourselves for self defense if necessary.

And what about like a month ago when this thing leaked, Republicans accused Democrats of putting it in the spotlight in order to gain points for midterm elections (because voters don't like abortion being banned), and now they went even further and actually banned the abortion.

So are Republicans admitting that they are shooting themselves in the foot when it comes to midterms?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

A wacky minority is using SCOTUS to harass the rights of the majority; you have nothing to fear, unless you live in Mississippi.

Or literally any state with a Republican legislature and/or governorship. Also I wouldn't call them wacky as much as I'd call them malicious bastards.

When pro choice advocates said, "If women started carrying guns to protect their uterus, the GOP would suddenly be for gun control", they said that sarcastically trying to point out how sick the GOP's position was. But now, even though nobody wants it to get that point, there will inevitably be those who will.

@  Jehanne , you are extremely well intended, and everyone reading this would love for everything to remain peaceful. But we have seen in our species history open societies fall and it starts with small chipping away of institutions and systems, like boiling a lobster slowly. Year after year the GOP has proven consistently that it is only concerned with keeping power and being the only power. It doesn't even have to be about abortion. GOP supporters who still support the orange fuckface, should be very aware that they will not stop with liberals or progressives. Trump has proven time after time he has no problem letting those in his ranks swing in the wind and hang themselves and throws his own under the bus as soon as he doesn't see them as useful or a threat to his power.

He has unfortunately set the stage, that even if he does not win in 24, a calm non bombastic Republican politician won't act outwardly bat shit nuts, but still be willing to stab anyone in the back to keep power. That politician will be far more dangerous than Trump.

So when it comes to abortion, you cannot make it about one topic when the long term is a trend, and not a good one. At some point a society that wants to maintain it's checks on power, and political pluralism, they have to stand up to that abuse of power, otherwise we end up like North Korea or the Taliban. Open societies do not fall overnight.

The election is only 4 months away. My inbox is quiet, except for the liberals. I got one email from a conservative site, the Concord Coalition, and that was about the economy.

Go figure!

This ruling is in no way good for liberals. The reasoning behind it could take away almost every single human right in the U.S. Only guns and money have inalienable rights.
