Bullshit.

Source: have a solar plant on my house.  I can see the generation statistics for the last several years - at worst, I see a 50% reduction on cloudy days.   Oh, and guess what?  System designers account for this.

Here's someone else's anecdotal evidence

Right?  It's not as if we don't have a grid that can supply electricity in places where it isn't generated - you know, like we do for non-renewable sources today.

You would have to build new DC power lines and expensive conversion equipment to deliver power outside of sunny American southwest. Taxpayers won't like that.

Whenever you cite a source we find 3 that contradict your claim. So throwing around articles has not served you in the past it won't now.

Or, you could do what's actually done and install an inverter, which is already required for onsite AC.

You should stop talking out your ass, you are regurgitating bullshit.

American taxpayers probably aren't thrilled about subsidizing oil, either...but when has that ever mattered?

I feel like there's probably another "somehow" hiding in there. Like, american taxpayers wont like solar if corporate raiders loot and pillage their earnings in retaliation for cutting them off the government tit? That I can see, yeah.

Apparently, there is an audio recording of Trump in which he acknowledges that he has no post-presidential authority to declassify anything, and boasts about holding on to a classified document outlining a potential US attack on Iran.
