The Absurd GOP
RE: The Absurd GOP
Multi racial marriage is next, under the guise of preventing anchor babies.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. Ok, who had 'MTG Campaigns For Joe Biden' on their bingo card?

Quote:Ranting at the far-right crowd, Greene attacked programs like Social Security, Medicare, and other infamous programs started by the late Democratic presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Lyndon B. Johnson.

She began by warning Joe Biden is trying to "finish what FDR started" by trying to address problems related to "education, medical care, urban problems, rural poverty, transportation, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps and welfare."

To be filed in the "ofc they did" file
Quote:Early last summer, complaining that Washington had failed to provide adequate staffing for Florida’s National Guard, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced that for the first time in 75 years he was activating the State Guard, a force of volunteers that could respond to hurricanes and other public emergencies.

But the deployment this spring has been mired in internal turmoil, with some recruits complaining that what was supposed to be a civilian disaster response organization had become heavily militarized, requiring volunteers to participate in marching drills and military-style training sessions on weapons and hand-to-hand combat.

--
Quote:The governor’s office said one of the Guard’s missions would be “to ensure Florida remains fully fortified to respond to not only natural disasters, but also to protect its people and borders from illegal aliens and civil unrest.”

The other recruits, we can safely assume, were super jazzed about becoming modern day slave patrollers.

Quote:The Brevard County Republican Executive voted by a supermajority this week to call upon Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to ban sale and distribution of Covid “and all related vaccines” in the state, Florida Today reported.

The nonbinding resolution also demanded that “Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody seize all remaining doses in the state for safety testing, ‘on behalf of the preservation of the human race,’ the resolution states," the report said.

The resolution is part of a trend among GOP county officials in the state, and “closely mirrors” a measure advanced in February in Lee County. Last month a similar resolution was passed in Tampa Bay Hillsborough County, bringing the total to more than half a dozen counties, the outlet reported.

Here’s some verbiage from the resolution in Brevard County, according to Florida Today:

"Strong and credible evidence has recently been revealed that Covid-19 and Covid-19 injections are biological and technological weapons," the Brevard draft resolution says, citing claims that have been disproven and disputed by respected medical groups.

"An enormous number of humans have died or been permanently disabled" by the vaccine, it says. "Government agencies, media and tech companies, and other corporations, have committed enormous fraud by claiming Covid-19 injections are safe and effective."

Alex Jones is very concerned that Democrats will use 'a meteor or a truck bomb' to distract from the next Trump indictment. He's less than clear about why Democrats would even WANT to distract from the next Trump indictment.

Republicans: Hunter Biden, a private citizen, paid for sex. We are outraged.

Also Republicans: Our presidential candidate paid for sex, then illegally used campaign money to keep it quiet… We support this man!
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

The Florida Board of Education (there's a euphemism to conjure with) has issued new history-teaching guidelines which mandate that students be taught that enslaved people benefited from slavery because they 'developed skills'.

Also in the new guidelines is that the Ocoee Massacre (in which 30-35 Black residents were murdered to prevent them from voting) was the instigated by Black violence.
