The Trump cult has made it acceptable to be the schoolyard bully who doesn't care who they hurt. But that behavior was always there. It had been kept on the down low by most people agreeing not to be complete dickheads, at least not out loud and proud.
My hope is that this election will slow the increasing lack of simple decency. I don't, in any way, think that electing Kamala will fix it all. I do hope that enough people are tired of the endless shit-talking and maybe simply get back to the business of running the damn country. And I don't mean running it into the ground.
I am done asking how low this country can go. I don't want these knuckle-dragging chucklefucks to see that as a challenge.
