The transition between the current adminstration - Biden/Harris - to the Trump/Vance administration will not go into affect until the start of next year; additionally the various cabinet appointees will on average take about 2 months to be put into place and then months more of moving pieces in and out of the administration.

The draft just ended and pre-season is just beginning, the first pick hasn't even played his first game yet so it's hard to talk about his performance this season. 

One of the proposed economic names around Trump, Kevin Warsh, is a good pick for a high level economic pick - was well aware of the impending recession in the mid-2000s and was one of the chief leaders within the Federal Reserve helping to keep several institutions afloat while simultaneously arguing for less government spending on banks and more on infrastructure and production incentives and projects.

Likewise programs like DoGE will ideally cut back a lot of government red-tape that favors government pork spending and corporate monopology practices, RFK Jr. will hopefully have influence on not just the medical industry but the agricultural as well, and other government agencies being gutted to help promote a more business friendly government should all have a long-term net gain on every citizen.

Don't need to; that question fundamentally misses the point. Allowing men - transexual or not - into women's bathrooms poses an inherent risk to women.

I'm sorry that's reality, I really am - I wish men wouldn't abuse the realities of sexual dimorphism and use it to overpower women for no reason other than they can.

It's funny you mention Social Security; when I was mentioning bills Johnson has recently sponsored and voted on, one was HR 82 - Social Security Fairness Act, a bill which was introduced in 2023 which will ensure that widows, spouses, widowers, and those who receive other state or federal funding will not have their benefits docked and cut for it.

In September he voted for HR 3334 - the "Stop the Chinese Communist Party Act," a bill that requires the President to impose visa and property-blocking sanctions on any member of the CCP that plays a role in harassing the people Hong Kong, Tibet, and the Uyhger people. This was a bill that 210 GOP members voted in favor of and 172 Democrats voted against.

I'm really not sure I am that beguiled, as I said before; look at their voting records, that's truly the only power they hold.

Doesn't look like it.  Looks like they can make you dance over some trans folks.  Scratch that.  One trans person.  How many rapists do you think are in congress right now and which bathroom do you reckon they go to? You know, keeping rapists out of bathrooms in government doesn't go near far enough. We could probably both agree that no rapist should be anywhere near the government, that they might need to use either bathroom. Yeah?
