What adult is having their right to body mutilation denied to them, and where is the right to use whatever bathroom you decide you want to use legally protected?

Trump traditional marriage - marry one, have some creepy kids, cheat on wife one with future wife two.  Marry wife two and have one creepy kid...cheat with future number three.  Marry wife three and produce another creepy kid while continuing the cheating thing either consensually or for cash.  Bury first wife on personal golf course...just like Jesus would do.  Can't get more traditional than that.

Well, either consensually or just raping a woman. E. Jean Carroll found that out the hard way.

I had thought about adding the non-consensual acts but figured that it's not going to change TWM's worship of the word of Trump.

Thought about it further and wondered why I bothered to respond at all.

It has to do with transgender rights since for example, if a person is born as a female (the body) and is attracted to males and changes her gender to male, now that person is male (body and brain) and is attracted to men.

I wasn't talking about Donald specifically. I was asking:
Put yourself in their shoes. If you were a transgender or if you were a homosexual, wouldn't you want to protect your rights, wouldn't you want to be respected?

and the republicans tend to want to take away their rights, civil union and otherwise.

I don't think anyone is denied to have a sex change operation.
For the second part, exactly. Wouldn't you want your right protected if you were a transgender?

I think the bottom line is that government should not be telling people who they should or should not be. Government's role in society is regulating how people should behave towards each other.

A government that puts cameras in toilets or conscripts it's citizens to the same end is fucking up in the easiest way to avoid fucking up. Just by doing nothing it is improved.

Analyst shames GOP for hypocrisy after U-turn on key conservative gripe

For years, the Republican Party — and ultra-wealthy businessmen in general — have warned about "unelected bureaucrats" and the danger they pose to accountable government. But when they are handed unified control of Washington, they immediately bring in their own to control everything, wrote Ryan Teague Beckwith for MSNBC.

The principal way they are already doing this, he wrote, is the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative, in which two pro-Trump billionaires, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, are heading up an unofficial task force, outside the government itself, to essentially make recommendations from on high about which federal programs and services should be cut.

All their complaints about "unelected decision-makers working without authorization from Congress and the Constitution" don't matter, he said, because "as it turns out, these critics don’t really mind any of those things, as long as they’re the ones in charge."

Imagine the Republicans actually giving a shit about accountability.

Seriously, if there were any hopes that the Republican Party gave a shit about accountability after the Bush Administration or even after January 6, the last embers would have died when the Supreme Court decided that Presidents were functionally above the law.

Shit, as I write this, Dad’s watching MSNBC, and what are they talking about? Trump saying that the members of the January 6 Committee should be jailed. And, after that, trying to get sympathy for the FBI raiding Mar-a-Lago because he hoarded classified documents.

I am not in their head but my guess is that they see themselves as the true christian.
They also see their god as absolutely above the law and always correct no matter what he does so they see themselves as free to do anything compared to the democrats. It is very important for them that Jesus wins (republicans win) no matter what otherwise, the devil (democrats) wins and the transgenders get rights, the gays get rights, the atheists get rights.

So, let's say that they have to compromise their (republican citizens) morality because you (transgender, gay, atheist) exist.
In the case of republican politicians, I think being immoral is just how they are. Donald can be more open about being immoral since he understands that the citizens are desperate to bring Jesus into the USA.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
