How to have lucid dreams?

If so, why would God show us our enemy and then have us interpret that as a dog? It seems as if this sort of wonky interpretation could lead to all sorts of bad consequences.

Further complicating your nutty thesis is the fact that animals dream, and we know what they dream about. Are you suggesting that animals visit God? Allah is hanging out with rats, cats, dogs?

God only speaks to people through:

1-a revelation
2-from behind a veil
3-sending a messenger with a message

An example is the Quran: which is a message given to a messenger.

Our brains are limited; that's why it interpret what it saw with what it knows and understands.
Similar to looking at a "Rorschach Test".

Yes. Even animals dream. The difference is in the brain of man and animal.

That makes no sense. Most humans are perfectly capable of understanding the concept ‘so and so is my enemy’. What purpose is served by substituting a dog?

In a more general sense, divine communication only through revelation, a veil, or a messenger seems a pretty sloppy way for a god to conduct business (it also bears a stunning resemblance to the Mafia, but that’s a topic for another time). It strikes me that pagan and polytheistic religions - as well as Judaism - had a more reliable set up: if Thor, Apollo, or Yahweh needed something done, they went right to the parties involved with detailed instructions.

Lucid dreams are cool... I miss them; I haven't had one in years but I used to have them quite a lot, because they often coincide with broken/erratic sleep patterns. The reason I haven't had them since is because my sleep is better and I was/am too lazy/impatient to learn how to do them on demand Wink... ie the general tips for that are 1) to keep a journal of your dreams so that you can identify 'dreamsigns', 2) practice in waking life - so that it becomes a habit that you hopefully will continue doing when you're dreaming - checking whether you're dreaming or not, for instance by counting the fingers on your hand... because numbers behave strangely in dreams, and 3) the most reliable method even for the lazy Wink is to set an alarm to interrupt your sleep after about four hours, so that it hopefully coincides with a period of REM sleep, then when you go back to sleep you're much more likely to have a lucid dream.

I think you're bat-shit, certifiably, crazy.

Actually I think the devil is too weak to interrupt dreams, Satan is overrated. Just like weaklings he tries to inflate himself to make us fear him, but behind the false reputation he has no power other than "whispering" sins to humans.

See what the Quran says about his reality:

Quote:Sura 14, The Quran:
https://quran.com/14?startingVerse=22

(22) Satan will say when the matter is finally decided, “Allah gave you a true promise; I also gave you promise, but I betrayed you. I had no authority over you, except that I called you and you responded to me. So do not blame me, but blame yourselves. I cannot rescue you, nor can you rescue me. I deny your previous association of me with Allah. Indeed, for the wrongdoers there will be a painful punishment.”

Satan and demons are weaklings who have no authority or power over us. So don't let Hollywood brainwash you.

Magic book is a revelation given to a messenger to give to an even less competent messenger to pass down through the generations by non messengers with political interests before it finally reaches your diseased brain - even on it's own grounds.  That's quite the fuckin "veil" alright.....it's a wonder that any of you think you know what any of it is supposed to mean.

The difference not being god..yet again.

The Quran has absolute verses which are crystal clear like:

-pray to God daily in 3 specified periods
-Fight injustice
-Give the poor money
-Fast in Ramadan
-Perform Haj to thank God for the cattle he made to serve humans
-Don't practice adultery
-Don't steal
...etc

And other verses which are ambiguous:

Quote:Sura 3, The Quran:

https://quran.com/3?startingVerse=7

(7) It is He Who has sent down to you the Book. In it are definite verses, which are the foundation of the Book; while others are ambiguous. Those with deviant hearts follow the ambiguous verses, seeking discord and seeking their [false] interpretation. But no one knows their [true] interpretation except Allah. And those who are well-grounded in knowledge say, “We believe in it. It is all from our Lord.” None will take heed except people of understanding.

So if the Quran itself says that some verses are ambiguous, and calls those who interpret it to suit their needs with "while others are ambiguous. Those with deviant hearts follow the ambiguous verses, seeking discord and seeking their [false] interpretation"; such people should be easy to detect.

Doesn't matter what the mythology geared book states. It doesn't correlate with reality.
