Just an old metalhead

I have that CD in my collection, not signed, but it's still a cool record. The last time I saw Maiden live was on this tour in '92 or '93. That was a long time ago.

That's cool. My other cousin, not this one, is a huge Maiden fan. He even has the eddie action figure.

I can keep a dozen CDs hidden in my truck at one time. When I've listened to them all, I swap them out for another batch. I've been listening to black metal most of the time, so that's what's in my truck. Lately I've been listening to WATAIN, DISSECTION, NEVERMORE, ROTTING CHRIST, MELECHESH, IMMORTAL, BEHEMOTH, etc.

Hell yea Nevermore. I can't drive so I just listen to my stuff either on youtube or bandcamp. I also link up my phone to the stereo and listen to music while I cook or do house work. Yesterday I was in the mood for fantasy metal, so I played Iced Earth while bathing my doggos.

I was able to see ICED EARTH live, along with ARCH ENEMY and EVERGREY at the same club. That show was in '04, almost 20 years ago. Damn I feel old.

Currently listening to this album and I like it. I like how fast it is for a Black Metal album.

Yeah, that's the new record that came out a few weeks ago. This "version" of IMMORTAL consists of only one original member left in the band. The original vocalist and guitar player is doing his own thing now. The band is named after him, ABBATH. You should check them out, I really like his stuff. The original drummer, Horgh,is retired after playing in HYPOCRISY for a few years. 
If your cousin has the OPETH record Black Water Park, listen to that one first, it will blow you away.
