If it was "designed" why did your designer do such a piss-poor job ? Why are mutations possible in your divine code that permit the suffering and death of babies ?
Did your designer not know how to do a half-decent job in the first place ?

Does it actually matter to you if we weren’t designed? If you discovered that we weren’t, would you abandon your faith in christ?

Yeah, saying that DNA is a code is like saying that the Rocky Mountains are a map.
