If hell and heaven existed any sane person would prefer hell, 1) it would have all the interesting people in it* and 2) endlessly praising an insane tyrant would be the worst torture imaginably.

*especially considering that the only thing stopping Hitler getting into putative heaven would be the fact that he blew his own brains out. There is nothing stopping Stalin from getting in, seeing as he died a good christian (of the Georgian orthodox variety).

I have always suspected his name is Xavier. Xavier was the name of one (or two) of their saints. It's not an Indian surname.

Yeah, I got banned from a trad forum, mainly for Criticizing Sede-Vacantism. I doubt most Atheists know what that is, so I won't go into it here.

Now, in the other thread, I read and shared a source that there are something like - what was it - 170 MN or so - Atheists in the world, far less than I thought. In light of that, I need to update/revise some of my projections/predictions for World Religious Demographics 2050 that I made on the First Page.

Let me get the data and then do that.

Just saw this. Hitler and Stalin were Murderers. You should read some St. John: "Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him."

Now, in the OPs in the First Page, I'd assumed Atheism must be like 350 MN or so, hence I thought ok, maybe it will grow to 500 MN in 2050.

Apparently, the number of Atheists in the world is going to be even LESS than 147 MN as it is today, in 2050, lol. Some major revisions are in order.

Here's the post and it needs some reworking and updating in light of this more specific data:

1. Christianity far ahead ruling the field and owning the game at 4 BN.
2. Islam in 2nd place at around 3 BN.
