Suffering from multiple personality disorder. One personality is a nice Christrian, the other is a extreme Islamic fundamentalist? Should we intervene when they start a thread and start flaming each other?

After browsing the robot priest thread, I became curious about the following: if a robot were to gain sentience, then would it be accepted as an equal and valued member of its church. Furthermore, if a robot priest designed a fully logical, original proof that established the existence of a god and could then provide evidence of the uniqueness of the particular god it followed, then would its human theist counterparts accept such a proof, especially if it challenged their particular way of understanding and experiencing their god? Would human theists be open to accepting a reformation proposed by an artificial life-form?
With that said, if a robot could bring theists closer toward understanding religious truth in an unbiased way that is in accordance with the workings of reality, then would they welcome its efforts, or would they sabotage it by clinging to their preconceived religious thought patterns and personal truths?
A robot can never accept Jesus as his saviour.
Therefore he can never go to heaven. He's going to hell instead. They're going to upload Windows 3 running on DOS 4 on him. (sorry, nerd joke)

Why do they call them Mexican standoffs?
Weren't they doing that in England centuries ago to resolve gentlemen's disputes? Or am I thinking of something else? (Why did Don Quixote just pop into my head?) I think my random number generator is broken....
