When my son was in Little League I thought it would be a good idea to bleach his white uniform pants to help get the grass stains and red clay stains out of them.  As it turns out, that sort of fabric turns a lovely shade of pink when bleached...my son was not amused.  Ooops - lesson learned.

My mistake was washing her new red bra (that hadn't yet been washed) with all of the other stuff.

We learn by doing, I suppose.

Actually bras don't get on with scarfs in a tumble dyer. Those little clasps (That I can never undo) get tangled up with the dangly bits on the scarf and the thing becomes one big mess. Cutting bits off stuff with a Stanley knife to untangle it is not the best of ideas, unless you need to catch a bus in like 4 minutes.

So apparently it’s okay for a shoe shop to give away a free “hacky sack” with every pair of shoes sold...

...but for me to offer guys a free “sacky hack” is “threatening behaviour” or “medical malpractice!”

Ruby Rose has announced that she wants her 'Batwoman' character to be seen as more than a lesbian crime fighter.

I guess I'm old fashioned - I think 'lesbian crime fighter' is awesomely enough.

The very best way to eat bacon:

Cook the bacon until it's crispy, get half a large block of cheddar cheese and start to melt in the bacon fat.. Add a pint of full fat milk and simmer the cheese and milk mixture until it thickens. wrap a rasher of bacon in a slice of crusty bread and dip into the sauce.

It will kill you eventually, but it's worth it.
