I actually feel bad for being such a degenerate piece of shit. How do i make myself better? I want to do something meaningful with my life, or at least leave my mark on this world.

Volunteer. It's very gratifying. I know it sounds like work, but knowing you'll be doing some good may make it worthwhile. I've always found it enriching.

I have to admit my bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired sometimes. It just depends on the resident, though.

No, lol. Just being verbally stern when it's warranted.

I tend to not be easily offended or bothered at work. It usually takes a great deal before I have to be earnest with a resident.

By no bedside manner I basically mean that I'm not as verbally endearing as other aides tend to be. I'm not going to be socially amiable. I'm more all business, there to get the job done.
