Crazy things husband and I argue about. Then he can't admit when I am right. We had our house appraised as we are taking out a loan to do some major repairs. Husband was sure that Zillow and other sites were overstating the value by about 60K. I was arguing that it's probably not far off as we have a large corner lot and you don't have to use the alley to get to the garage. Also, it's a custom built home and though in need of some fixes and upgrades, it's not a cookie cutter house like we see in the other newer subdivisions.

He paced and panicked and vacuumed for days anticipating a low appraisal. That appraisal came in about 10K less than what was on Zillow and a full 50K over what he estimated. The 10K makes perfect sense to me as we need a new HVAC unit to replace the 40 year old one for the downstairs. He's pretending he was right all along and there was nothing to worry about.

Anywho, we close on the loan this afternoon. Hopefully he'll be able to calm the fuck down after that.

Sounds like your whole house could make good use of trazodone. Hehe

You seem to be thrilled with the effects of trazadone...husband takes it every day...maybe he needs more.  Maybe I can mix some in his iced tea.
