National Megalodon Day is celebrated on June 15 every year. The megalodon is one of the largest apex predators to have ever existed. It’s no wonder why this mega-toothed shark continues to fascinate and dominate imaginations. This shark ruled the oceans for over 20 million years, its enormous serrated teeth — all 276 of them — ensured a spot at the top of the food chain. What happened to this prehistoric shark? Does it still lurk in the depths of the ocean?
When's national T-Rex day?
National velociraptor day?
National Big-Fucking-Meteor Day?

This upcoming UK election is a real difficult choice... surrounded by rocks and hard places, frying pans and fires, I still have no idea how I'm going to vote come 4th July, or whether I may even consider abstaining. No one has anything positive to offer, so it feels like, at best, a "containing safety" in snooker terms. It feels like an utterly depressing and hopeless election, where whatever happens, we'll wake up to a shit storm on July 5h, with it just being about trying to mitigate the damage.

Candidates and policies are rarely equally bad. While there may not be anything you want to vote for, there are certain to be things you want to vote against.
Alternatively, find a well meaning, well informed person and ask their opinions. Then vote the other way. You’ll rarely go wrong.

Unfortunately it's a bit more complicated this time because there are things on both sides I want to vote against.
And hehe, yeah. There's no shortage of opinions, but it's still a really difficult choice for me.

Not only is buying a new phone a pain in the ass...it's an expensive venture as well.
Of course, all the cables have changed the ones in my house or car have to be replaced. I am amassing quite an impressive collection of useless (to me) cables and adapters.

These things are frickin' awesome: Micro USB version.
And, USB C version.
Not only do they make charging your devices much easier, they allow for data transfer and they make Micro USB and USB C cables interchangeable.

I am going to do some cleaning of all the cords and adapters I no longer need and see if one of the schools can use them. I have some still new in the package...hate to see them to the landfill.

I think God should have to eat microwaveable frozen meals and chicken nuggets for every meal from now on. See how He likes it.

From what I understand, his tastes aren't quite sophisticated.
