Going to have to bring that tidbit of history to their attention when I next have the opportunity.
Sorry, but "the customer is always right" was never intended to placate Karen.
Edit, posted on FB:
A little history lesson. The phrase "the customer is always right" was never intended to placate the customer on his or her whims. The original intent was simply to agree with the customer on his or her personal taste in a product.
Therefore, forgive me if I prefer to believe in the intended purpose rather than what was twisted by corporations.

So many customers are not right. When I worked as a mechanic, people would come with their diagnoses of the problem. I used their recommendations a few times, but soon discovered that they didn't know what they were talking about. Some of them, I just told them that if I'm wrong, that they didn't have to pay. That was a big incentive for them to trust my diagnosis.
Whenever I take one of our vehicles to our mechanic (his name is Duke and he’s awesome), my ‘diagnosis’ is always something like, ‘It’s going
whirr-clunk. Make it stop.’

Lately, pimples love forming on my nose more than any other area of my face.

Thought I was over the cold, but a second wave decided to hit me.

I've had that in the past, and discovered that it was allergies. Last year about this time I was miserable with weeping eyes and a stupid-bad runny nose. I was prescribed Nasa-Cort. I used to take mass quantities of Benadryl, which I detest for the drowsiness it causes. I don't take that any more, and only use the Nasa-Cort when a runny nose starts, for a few days, and it's over. I hope this helps you!

Might be allergies, but I've never had it checked out.

First pimples, now cold. I'm beginning to wonder where your nose has been.
