If you mean that by having had one strain of Covid, you're immunized, you're wrong.
There are at least 5 strains circulating, with a new one arising fairly frequently.

I had the chicky-pox twice as a kid, I think. Never had mumps or measles. Had a case of bronchitis once. Had a bad case of vertigo once where walking made me appear like a drunk teenager. Once got a full body rash that the hospital could not explain. Had a feverish flu in college.

I had mumps as a kid. I remember the older couple that lived next door came over and brought me a Bugs Bunny coloring book. The wife was mad because the husband should have bought an Easter themed coloring book. So, I assume it was in the spring.

The Bugs Bunny book was fine with me.

All my kids had the pox, it was before that vax came out. None had mumps or measles.

RE: Top 5 Personal Worst Pathogen Sick
Late February 2009: Came down rather suddenly with a flu-like illness that knocked me on my ass, sending me to bed for three solid weeks. It might have been H1N1, because at the time I was working in an office with someone who had just returned from Mexico, where the flu strain had just emerged. However, it could also have been hantavirus or toxoplasmosis because a few days earlier I had been installing extra insulation in a crawlspace frequented by both mice and cats. (Oddly enough, no one else in the household caught what I had.)

Sequence went roughly like this: Flu or flu-like phase; pneumonia that necessitated antibiotics; shortness of breath and overall poor stamina. Altogether it took me two months, and a hot yoga class, to get fully back to normal.

I called it the Mesopotamian Death Flu.

And every year since that time, I've gotten a flu shot as soon as it became available.

Hmm

"What is the difference between being vaccinated and being immunized?

Vaccination: The act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce protection from a specific disease. Immunization: A process by which a person becomes protected against a disease through vaccination. This term is often used interchangeably with vaccination or inoculation."

I'd had a vaccination, a few more since.
I suppose I was only partially immunised, depending on your preferred definition.

If you've had a few vaccinations, you're likely good to go. Except have the new one this fall.

How many vaccinations do we need before we can claim to be 5G?
