Palestine
RE: Palestine
There is a nice video from “Reporters” by France 24:

So I am not that impressed by the attitude of Prime Minister Netanyahu either.

Yes, Hamas is a terror organization and we all recognize and condemn the atrocities it has committed. But does Israel seePalestine as “We were here first, we will be here last, for this is the land God has given to us chosen-ones”? (06:50 in the video)

If so, Israel is not a rational actor either.

End of the video: There are İsraeli activists who are trying to help Palestinians from being kicked out of their ancestral lands. The Palestinian Police does nothing when their property is being destroyed by Israeli Settlers. When these Jewish demonstrators come, they sent a whole 20 person team to stop them.

So again: This is political Judaism = Extreme Zionism.

There is a regime in that country that is outdated and needs to be changed. Western Nations and other actors can work on that.

And I am also going to mention China. This time we should try to avoid any scenario with one side backing Israel and the other backing Palestine.

All actors should avoid supporting irrational religious convictions (like extreme Zionism). Because the spiritual view on that is that “All nations in the world are special / none of the Nations of the world are special”. Ideas of religious supremacy are not different than ideas of ethnic or racial supremacy.

So someone has to balance this completely unbalanced situation. Sad

Israel is directing Palestinians to ‘safe zones’ in Gaza, then proceeding to bomb those areas.

Tell me again how this is a war against Hamas and not Palestinians.

It's only a war if they fight back, and it's never a war crime the first time.

Sometimes when I'm on the road, one of the things I do is monitor enemy transmissions from folks like Mark Levin, and he'll ramble about how this attack by Israel on Gaza is just to go after Hamas & then turn around and engage in this awkward effort to paint all Palestinians as being one in the same as Hamas.

Recently I've gotten so sick of hearing these neocons/interventionists/whatever constantly engaging in a one-sided pro-Israel rant that I have to switch to another radio station; I'm thinking I can find something else to listen to, so I try switching to C-Span radio or NPR and lo and behold, they're also talking about the Gaza-Israel conflict.

It's a war, I suppose, but it's more meaningful to describe it as a slaughter - something I heard recently on the radio is that about 1% of Gazans have been killed by this conflict. That's mind-boggling as well as disgusting!

There is a very good reason why neighboring countries do not want to take in Palestinian immigrants. Palestinians have a infamous history that is almost parallel to the psuedo-justifications for the general anti-semitic sentiment established throughout history. They tend to cause chaos if not directly attack their very own countries that they emigrate to.

Black September in Jordan, the state of Lebanon is worse than even their neighbors, and Egypt learns from history.

RE: Palestine
Which country whose own economy is a basket case would look forward to taking  in refugees without skills and with a lot of resentment?    Countries in the region generally lack strong national identity that could be used to assimilate immigrants.

In addition, Palestinians being abused outside these country can be used to generate some degree of national consensus inside these countries.     Palastinians inside these countries just create social division and centrifugal forces.

Taking in migrants has to be done very carefully and in a planned manner. Germany took some 1 million Syrian migrants in 2015. But they needed the workforce and they have made progress in integrating foreigners. So they integrated another 1 million Ukrainians when the war started in Ukraine. France on the other hand took some 10,000 Syrians in 2015. A purely symbolic act.

So the only solution to this is Elon Musk and his “colonize Mars” program. Since (obviously) they are not able to live where they are, than through the use of technology, we should be able to give some sort of place to these people. That’s how I see it Smile

You're going to have to speak for yourself when you prattle on about no one liking refugees or being pro-migration, and casually suggest we shoot them all to mars.

Meanwhile, you get religion wrong in the usual way. Your personal opinions don't count as a religion. X is only a religion when it is shared by a community as an organizing principle -of- their community. Your boy ozturk is a muslim, for example. His schtick is drawing everything back to new new magic book. Garbage in, garbage out.
