I wouldn't say that I believe in god but I believe in SGM (small gay men). SGM are like ninjas: hidden everywhere and helping me when I'm in trouble. Like the other day, I was riding a bicycle when there was suddenly a large body of water right in front of me. I kept driving on and on, but then suddenly I turned left and was saved from falling into the river and possibly drowning. That's because a small gay man jumped from the bushes and pushed me to the left in time to save me too fast for anyone to notice.
But when bad things happen to me (like when I fall down the stairs) and SGM didn't help me, it just means that I wasn't PC and woke enough. Or if I was PC and woke but bad things happen, means that I could be even more PC & woke, like I could put a gay flag on my porch or bake donuts and give them away in a gay club.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
