Personal opinion, I think he's too late, and history will see his court complicit in the dismantling of American democracy. I do think he will try, but that boat left the harbor a loooooong time ago, with Citizens United, which he agreed with.

Too little too late.  Personal opinion - it will fall to the people to set things right.

"The People" are too damned busy with "The Boyz" reruns and binging the next thing on Netflix. Thing will have to get a lot worse to push them out of their Lay-Z-Boys.

New photo online of Kid Rock in the Oval Office with tRump signing an executive order to lower the price of concert tickets.  Sure glad the important stuff is being taken care of.  And, is anyone buying tickets to see Kid Rock?  I wouldn't go listen to him if he was in my front yard.

Now the administration is spinning the deportation of a man protected by a court order as a "clerical error."

It occurred to me that they have to say this, otherwise they are in violation of the order. Of course they intend to ignore the order, but wink, wink. The showdown is coming if it isn't already here. We have a king if the executive is superior to the congress and courts.

To somebody like me who knows very little about economics, Trump's tariffs, etc., seem random and chaotic. But this writer sees them as a considered plan. The plan will harm US allies and, of course, not-rich people in the US, but there is method in the madness.
