Failed prophecy in the bible if one cares to look

Of course this is about Tyre
Critics say that the prophecy says Tyre will never be rebuilt and yet it was.
Christians respond by saying that the prophesy really says is Tyre will never regain its independence wealth and power.
They assert confidently that history shows it was never independent again and never regained its wealth power, glory, in all history...
That can sound very convincing and hard to beat when they state it with so much confidence.
Well lets just see if that's true.
Google search: how rich and influential was Tyre compared to other cities at the time Nebuchednezzer sieged it
It shows Tyre was indeed the wealthiest, most powerful etc. of the time (excluding the super powers of the day)
Awhile later Alexander the Great sieged it.
We know the city was soon rebuilt because historical documents say the Seleucid empire took control of the city of Tyre (can be found on Google).
The Seleucid empire then lost control of it and Tyre became an independent republic (also can be found on Google).
The Seleucid empire continued to try to regain control of the city but failed.
Google search: how rich and influential was Tyre compared to other cities at the time the Seleucids tried to control it
Google shows how Tyre was again the wealthiest, most powerful etc. of the time (also excluding the super powers of the day). Really.
Unfortunately, and of course, I can't get and research the actual historical documents concerning these two periods to fully prove it for myself.
Even so, I think common sense says Tyre regained its wealth, power and independence.
Thus the biblical prophecy failed.
bah would have put the links in but they were too large and didn't know how to shorten them, if even possible....

"Jesus fulfilled all the biblical prophecies!"
"The Jews say he didn't and they're THEIR prophecies!"

The Biblical prophecy regarding the destruction of the nation of Tyre was fulfilled in minute detail. The only failure I see here is your inability to provide evidence that the prophecy failed.

Here’s evidence: Tyre still exists.

The NATION of Tyre no longer exists. You're referring to the present existence of the DISTRICT of Tyre. Two entirely different things.

Tyre was never a nation in the modern sense. It was a city-state like Athens. There has never been a time when Tyre was completely destroyed or completely uninhabited. In fact, the population of modern Tyre is roughly four times what it was at the height ancient Tyre.
History-1 : Prophecy-nil.

Read Ezekiel 29:17-20. It appears to acknowledge that the prophecy earlier in 26 did not come to pass.
Also, consider God's prophecy to Jonah. Sometimes, predictive prophecies aren't meant to become true.

Wouldn’t that make Ezekiel a false prophet?

But we're not discussing the "modern sense;" correct?
At the time the prophecy against it was written, Tyre was considered to be a nation because it had its own government. Not only that, at the time that the Bible prophecy was written against it, Tyre was "a major regional power and a key ancient Near Eastern commercial center that greatly influenced Mediterranean shipping lanes and overland trade between the coast and Arabia."

So distinct was the nation of Tyre from other nations at the time the prophecy was written against it that the Abrahamic God specified that "many nations" would destroy it over time, thereby distinguishing Tyre from other nations and at the same time confirming that Tyre was indeed a nation.
Ezekiel 26:3
"therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says: ‘Here I am against you, O Tyre, and I will bring up many nations against you, just as the sea brings up its waves."
