Like I said before, I will talk about what I like when I like. You asked me a direct question about your post, I was directly responding to this question about your post. It has nothing to do with your personality, and your own opion about my answer is also misconstrued. If you don't like my answer, I suggest you don't ask the question.

I'll leave this upto other people. It's not my thing to bitch about people behind their backs, I do it to their faces.

Fuck it. You are obviously in the mood to pick fights. I am not in the mood to have them, nor is this the place for it. I tried to talk about something sensible with you, but you are obviously not having it. I'm out until someone who wants to contribute comes in. Try to keep the thread on topic. You can talk about what you like when you like, but contrary to your belief, this is not a free-for-all.

A lady walked into the office and wanted a copy of the newspaper for which I work. We had local coverage of a tornado that touched down in the area, killing one person and destroying 30 houses. I overheard the woman tell our front desk person: "It shows God is still in control, doesn't it?" I grimaced.

dogschild Wrote:God did not cause those tornadoes Of course he didnt. God is a fictional character from a book of myths. He cant do anything like Spiderman cant do anything
dogschild Wrote:tornadoes like those that struck the south have been doing damage to the south for thousands of years even when there were no environmental issues. Of course tornadoes have struck southeast US before, but not as much historically and not that badly. History shows that this is happening more and more and more frequently. I suggest when it comes to the weather that you drop your bible and read something from the experts on it. Here is a list, notice how it gets more and more frequent the closer it gets to our current time:

dogschild Wrote:I do know this, God will prove His love to those who were affected by those terrible storms. God is a fictional character from a book of myths. He cant do anything like Spiderman cant do anything
dogschild Wrote:To make jokes and crude comments about such tragic events does show ones lack of belief in God and a lack of human compassion. No it doesnt. Showing a lack of belief in god is what shows a lack of belief in god. Morals are seperate from religious belief. Joking a fictional god is not immoral and can be quite entertaining as well.

Bollocks, saying something along the lines of "They got hit by tornadoes, serves them right for denying climate change" implies both that they are responsible and that they deserved it. The implication exists in your mind, but i strongly suspect in this case it exists nowhere else.

I think you know even as described by you it is actually not really an extreme outlier amongst human behavior, and many kinds of fuckers would say something like this when it suits them. So tactical theatrical indignation based on pretending what is regretably almost behaviorally mainstream is really on the extreme margin is not effective, rather it is self-discrediting.
