I got one of the first shippings of the 360 and after having to send it in to get it repaired for the fifth time I told Microsoft to give me a new machine instead of a refurbished one. They said no and I told them to suck it. I went and got a PS3 and am much happier with it. It's a thousand times more stable, and the only problem I have had so far is this outage. I pretty much only play online now so I'm pretty pissed off about this, but Sony will have to do a lot more than this to equal the cornholing I got from Microsoft. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved my 360(other than the fact it crashed about three times a day), but Microsoft totally bungled their customer service when dealing with the stabillity problems.
I wish Nintendo would stop dicking around and make a serious machine like the 64 to compete with these other two. I have a feeling this new project cafe will just be another gimmick machine.

Yeah i agree man. The ps3 for me is just such a better quality console, it's rare that i hear anyone talking about their ps3's breaking but i am constantly speaking to friends who have the RROD.
And that's why i mentioned sega earlier, i don't see why they don't make consoles anymore. If they did it would certainly make things interesting.

I've heard they might be toying with the idea of bringing out a next generation Dreamcast but it's far from certain. They stopped making consoles because after the Genesis every thing they came out with was a colossal commercial failure. The 32x, Sega Cd, Dreamcast, Sega lost a boat load of money on these.

After about a week of playing it the thing just died.
By the way, who disagrees with me that Kinect completely kicks the ass of the rival Wii controllers and Playstation Move?

ME!
I hold the completely irrational unjustified view of a ps3 fanboy on this issue.

I've only used the Wii, but I know how the Kinect works & the technology & applications for it, especially outside of the Xbox, are damn cool.

Me. Xbox360 doesn't have mario, and therefore cannot make good use of it. That means no SSB. That means it absolutely sucks.

I'm in no hurry to get a kinect. The Saboteur, GTA4 and Assassins Creed play perfectly fine without one.

I have all three systems and love them all for certain games. By the way, anyone have an idea when PSN shop will be back?
I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. It doesn’t frighten me. - Richard Feynman
