Wonder what the top speed is? I think that would make the morning traffic jam much easier to deal with
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

These retards have already lost... If I do see smiteful angels tomorrow I'll undoubtedly crap my pants enough for all of us and post warning messages here so you can all repent for being rational in time for asshole YHWH to forgive you.
There is actually a billboard from "family radio" in Christchurch, I'll be moving back up there tomorrow, perhaps I'll arrange a few mates to go smoke a fatty when the time comes!
I guess the positive thing is that if it does happen less than 40% of my countrymen will lift off... You Americans will see 80% leave.
That will be the end of the Tea Party.

This is slightly off-topic, but it cracked me up. A local car wash has a sign out front today that says "Wash your car before the rapture."

BOOM!! HEADSHOT!!!
That reminds me of a line from Mystery Science Theater 3000 when they reviewed the movie "Starfighters" about USAF F-104 fighter jets, during some stock footage of ground attack practice: "Well at least I know our country is protected if we're ever attacked by giant white squares."
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

We WERE attacked by 'giant white squares' in the last election.
Where the hell were those planes when we needed them!
My fav MST3K was "Prince of Space", btw.

Those that have to change their lives because of some perceived impending disaster, aren't really living the kind of life they want are they? I'm quite happy with my life the way it is, although I'd rather it be living it in GA at the moment.
There is no "If" tacky, it's all complete bullshit.
You can't seriously tell me you think Jesus is going to come swooping down from the sky with his army of angels to raise the dead and take everyone who believes the contents of an ancient Jewish myth with him do you? How do they manage to convince reasonable people of such utter nonsense? Mother Goose is literally more plausible than that...

If this rapture thing did occur, the gods responsible my enemy have become.
And they will know pain, for the death of a god hurts.
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

I actually do believe in the rapture Void. I also know fully well that I won't ever see it coming if it even comes when I'm alive. I also know full well it does me no good worrying or hoping for it. I believe it will happen, I know I don't know when. I'm not trying to convince anyone of it, and as it doesn't affect my daily decisions or thinking, I don't see where it's any affect to anyone but I. When it happens, it'll be too late to rethink your position most likely.
