Rolf the airedale terrier speculates about religion

Historian Dr Jan Bodenson of Cardiff University has uncovered documents in Berlin state library revealing a bizarre scheme of Adolf Hitler to have trained dogs help Nazi Germany win WW2. German animal psychologists of the period claimed dogs could be almost as intelligent as humans, citing Rolf who, they claimed, could relay messages using his paws, had learned some poetry and was speculating about religion!
Sadly for us, it isn't recorded what conclusions Rolf came to.
A man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?

How can you tell if a dog is speculating about religion?
did it bark in tongues, piss on a cross, take to wearing a burqa or what?
