Social Justice?

I would posit that its a chosen handle and not a given name and as such respect of it is not due. Your specific handle on this forum comes off as frivolous and fictitious. For a nickname to have any serious worth or value it must be given and validated by others.

It only sounds frivolous and fictitious if you've never heard me say it fifty times in a row with ne'er a stutter nor a snicker Heart

It was my name before it was my username Heart This is the name I've used for 5 years. I sign with it. All other names are aliases.

For comparison, a (younger by 4+ years) niece of mine decided she wished to be called Nicole but half a year ago... and they have all nearly flawlessly adapted (including her mother and even great-grandmother).

Pretending that this isn't a way they express their denial of my being a woman is to wear the rosiest colored glasses in existence. Sleepy

Well, I am not THEY. I am much more open minded. At least you are open about the truth about yourself on this site now... thats a good step in the right direction. Life is short... its the 21st century... people like you need to get out and be open. Fight for your fucking rights!

Of course its going to be hard..and prepare for laughs at best... violence at worst.

RE: Social Justice?
Also this is a forum so a handle is the appropriate thing to call someone by. I would not call you Aerzia in real life.

It is fictitious as it is not a given name. (Definition of Fictitious: Not real or true, being imaginary or having been fabricated).
(Too clarify I'm speaking of using it instead of your given name in a real world situation)

You are equivocating your ability to pronounce it with the fact that it is frivolous and fictitious which is obviously a false equivocation.

Another false equivocation. Your claiming that they(in real life) are denying to use the name because they wish to deny your choice of gender. Correlation does not prove causation.

If you chose a more reasonable female name you would be able to get more people to call you by it(in real life). There are a lot of people myself included that support the idea of chosen gender(in real life). I do not support calling someone anything they wish no matter how fantastical sounding.

It's a nickname as most people have in this forum. So, of course it's "fictitious." I think that's a poor usage of the word anyways.

Not true, because people can make up their own nicknames on a forum, and if it sounds good and easy to type, then likewise more people will call you by that name.

You seem to have not followed the whole thread. I was referring to real life. Ill edit my post to clarify.
No Christians are willing to come out supporting social justice? Also more surprising none have denounced it.

Yes you are, Rev. And I've been 'open' on this site about that since 2009 sometime. October I think. Maybe november. My gods I've been here forever!

I FEEL OLD! TT__TT

I don't wish to fight for my 'rights' too... it's enough fighting to stay legal and more to follow legal procedure. I'm so prepared for violence that I desperately wish to avoid taking a bus or cab.

Don't be so certain Tongue My entire circle of 'friends' calls me Aerzia, Zia, Aer, Sae, Saerules, and a few of them have even formally declared me Lady Arktuos when inviting me to join them in some activity Heart

I use this name in all "real" world situations. Be careful talking to me about reality... for everything exists and everything is real. And I will shred your statements with sharp pointy tautology if you continue using these words when you should not Heart

Quote:You are equivocating your ability to pronounce it with the fact that it is frivolous and fictitious which is obviously a false equivocation.

Nay... I am humorously noting that you probably are pronouncing it 'wrong', hence your understanding of my name as frivolous and fictitious Sleepy

Quote:Another false equivocation. Your claiming that they(in real life) are denying to use the name because they wish to deny your choice of gender. Correlation does not prove causation.

Choice of gender? How cute.

What they wish is irrelevant, it is what they say and do that matter. And what they say and do is deny my gender.

Does it interest you that I've actually talked to these people about their denial of my gender? Correlation and causation are less informative tools than communication. Heart

I don't have a problem with people calling me by my name... until someone else introduces a different one. This then confuses them, and they usually take the one which looks more applicable. L'problem with having a history with people.

More with this 'chosen' gender... Heart

What you support is irrelevant to me, as I still lay more men than you Heart Women too. Once a dog Wink

RE: Social Justice?
people who want to deny you the gender deny the name

People who want to deny the name deny the gender

These statements are not equal. You equivocated them falsely. If i am wrong feel free to dismantle. You threaten that more often then you are able to do it.

Quote:I am humorously noting that you probably are pronouncing it 'wrong', hence your understanding of my name as frivolous and fictitious
I have never pronounced it as the person with the name chooses the pronunciation. It is fictitious as you fabricated it. What significance does it have that makes it non frivolous?

Quote:What you support is irrelevant to me, as I still lay more men than you Women too. Once a dog

Nonsensical and baseless. This is why i have you on ignore though i do choose to read some posts.
