A massive waste of money and time.
That money could have gone towards education or health care. Selfish idiots.

I'm all for the up keep of historic buildings. probably tarted it up for the royal wedding.

Its the royals we could really do without.

Yes, the royals are a waste of time and money aswell.

But it is knowing that it will be used for religious purposes rather than an awe inspiring building for observation.

St Pauls is an important part of Uk architecture, the only good thing religion has given us. Plus the wedding was at Westminster abbey.

That money went to hundreds of contruction workers, architects, designers...It wasn't just thrown out the window, it was used to pay people. And that means stimulating the economy, and that's not a bad thing at all.

Also, monuments stand tall through the ages and are something of importance.

Without considering the obvious tourist revenues they get from that cathedral.
