I am anything but alone on this. You yourself hold to the essence of this position when thinking of pagans and "heretics", spreading false gospel. Theist and atheist alike can think of religions that are not representative of "the beauty of human nature". "The beauty of human nature" is not in itself a factual statement. At least not an objective one. It is only beautiful to us ; and not everyone believes in the beaty of human nature. In fact, some christians come to mind. We are all wicked, our very hearts condemn us. I find it difficult to believe that you don't already know this. Because these are the people advocating the idea of original sin, and you're in a thread called "a question about original sin". Lastly, of course, you are a christian, but apparently not "one of those" christians, probably because there are no "true christians".
Hope is beautiful and real, i find it very necessary too. Do you find yourself looking to the next moment in which you know of what it will be but are not apart of it yet. Thinking about whats going to happen and being slightly anxious. This is hope and what hope is this, that installs my day as to never be so inclined to this moment, that i might think about another. But for many it is a beautiful thing to look past what is now and persevere to what will happen. Hope is strange and very selfish but it is what we have. If we are all condemned, then wouldn't hope be all we have or for you the hope that we are not wicked? As for original sin, when Adam sinned, sin entered the world. What is a "true christian"?

Nor I yours. When your argument fails, as it always does, you simply change the definition of a word to suit your agenda. You are pathetic. Doesn't matter. We've had this argument before and I'm not going to have it again. I remember the first time your final conclusion went something like this:
God isn't a human so our definition of justice does not suit him. God has his own justice and it is perfect. God can cast billions of people into hell because he has the "justice for deities" version of justice.
Do not waste my time further with this. I have avoided putting you on the ignore list, but I'll be happy to do it if you want to beat this particular subject to death again. Also. What hostility? Asking someone in this forum why they are hostile is most often a dodge and a cop-out. It's placating and condescending and clearly I had a very valid point that you cannot address - so you ignore it and try to discredit me by playing the martyr and then insult my intelligence by simply saying, "I just don't understand where you get your concept of justice."
You are not hated on these forums because you are a christian. You are hated because you manipulate, condescend, deny, dodge and outright lie.
EDIT: Furthermore, if anyone deserves an Admin's Note on all their posts - it's you.

Please give me an instance where I have lied as to avoid bearing false witness, thanks.
Yeah, last time we talked I presented a valid logical syllogism as to why God is just by nature and you just through a hissy fit about it. Ok, so for the purpose of the discussion we can use whatever definition of justice you want, but please provide it. Thanks.

Absolutely right, now prove that yours is that one. Evidence?

The Christian capability for psychogical projection never ceases to amaze me.
Satisfaction will be what we are judged for and we have this one life to live, so if you are not me and wish not to satisfy yourself in praising the lord through donations, you should at least be satisfying yourself. Satisfaction is what will be have in common, the things is are motives and actions will be severely different. What if denying myself satisfied me or punching babies satisfied you, what is satisfaction?

CRod. Indeed, what is a true christian? Every time I am told what exactly a true christian is, another christian argues that I have been mislead. That he is a true christian. On and on it goes. What you have thus far CRod is a lot of words, and I like appetizers too, but, evidence?

Now if i may, why must it be proven it is a belief? "He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know me?" declares the LORD.Jer22:16 So to do this is to know God. I would hope that you are already doing this so why must you be justified with proof? All reasons so that i might understand

If your "truth" is nothing more than a belief, then you really have no standing to claim that it is "the one truth". You don't know that - you have no way to know that. Belief is not equal to knowledge.
Believe whatever you want, I don't care. When you step over the line and profess your belief is THE ONE TRUTH, be prepared to get called on your bullshit and defend it - or STFU and GTFO. To do otherwise is intellectually dishonest.
