I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

And yet according to John the apostle, or whatever that scribes name was, there is no more sin in the world original or otherwise. Unless Jesus died a miserable failure.

John 1:29 (King James Version)

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

That's not the only question CRod, how about mine; Is it true? If not, then I will casually disregard.

What is true? And what is the difference if true to me is true? Believing is true but is the belief true. Ask the scientific method guy and he says well i cant really prove it so lets assume otherwise. After that belief is still justified so is doubt in everything else.
Can i use the scientific method for all things or just for stuff you tell me?

What is true but the acceptance until absolutely proven wrong without a doubt nonsense. You know that's what i have been sharing the whole time, something to accept as true. You have shared with me constant skepticism and mockery, nothing is more enthralling than wasting time in this endless circle.

Is it my fault that your myth cycle rests entirely on circular reasoning? You can share all you like, and I will ask you why I should accept it as true every time. I mock you because you have a tendency to speak in platitudes.

You just like posting, its cool every single post is the same and we just go back and forth. I guess you wouldn't ever want to share your belief with me.

What belief CRod? Are you operating under the assumption that I'm a muslim, a jew, a pagan, what?

Were you thinking you would find a ready audience of potential converts in this forum, CRod? The problem you are up against was fired back past you pages ago, and your response is not adequate to that volley. Belief is not sufficient in this debate. There is no non-manmade evidence for your deity: The atheist position is based on what is knowable at present and what can be tested and verified, which means that true to you, or believed by you, especially as it pertains to this forum, relegates you to secondhand status. Notions such as original sin and a god dumb enough or malevolent enough to fuck mankind over just to prove his supremacy, and in his quest to do this finding the need to throw either one third of himself or his son to the wolves, are so completely transparent in their confusion that, as with everything fictional, they had to be made up by man.

Converts are not of choice. I have a religion with a God and you guys lack belief in a god. I find that any real discussions over philosophy and understanding could be best gathered through the different views. What am i supposed to do go to a Christian forum and say you believe in God, cool man me too! It seems though nothing can be understood but what is already understood from what i see on this forum and the constant ridicule of the faithful.

Im operating under the assumption that you know something to be more true or more important than others things. Do you work under the understanding of some unquestioned truth or do you recognize a belief as true?

I think you might have more success, and a less bumpy ride, at places like these:

Atheists are in general so sick of religion-for historically eminent reasons, that they waste little time in excoriating the believers who come in wanting a "philosophical" give and take when in truth, what is desired is a capitulation to a theological nonsequitur.
