Never ask a question unless you're sure that you want the answer.
So you're not with those atheists who would say that they're happy not to know. Who say "what's wrong with addmitting we don't know" ...especially when addressing the question of material origins.

That's right... you chose which side of the fence you sit on to suit the argument.

There's nothing wrong with saying you don't know when you don't. Until convincing evidence is presented we should be honest and attribute each explanation in measure.

The supernatural becomes a more crowded place everytime you poke your head out. I never shy away from the things I don't know. I simply refuse to allow people to leverage "we don't know what we don't know" when arguing against things we DO know. Especially when they couch it in the language of what the claimant "knows". It's torturous and misleading.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I feel you are misrepresenting what I have tried to convey. I'm not claiming to know what it was. I THOUGHT I knew what it was whilst it was happening. 24 hours later, I started to 'doubt' that conclusion and wonder what the heck it really was. I'm still wondering but that's ok. Really it is.
