I received revelation that I needed to investigate it, and when I finally got to it, I found it was about the God I already knew. God had shown me beforehand that He is a triune God, and that He has a Messiah..ie, someone whose job it was to save the world. So the bible was confirmed true to me before I had ever read it.

Tell me, When there are people who will swear as you have that they received revelations of a monotheistic Allah or Jewish Yaweh or Buddah or some pantheist consciousness and all of them are equally sure of themselves, what makes you so sure that your "revelation" is any more significant?

Also, explain to me why no person who had never heard of Christianity before has ever worshipped Jesus because of revealed truth?

And how exactly does the statement "So the bible was confirmed true to me before I had ever read it." make any sense when reading the bible it's self does not endow someone with "Truth"?

Just to point something out. This:

I received revelation that this wasn't the case however, when one day I had a spiritual experience that showed me that there is a higher power at work in the world, that some powerful being was working behind the scenes of material reality. I had no choice to conclude at that point that everything I knew was in some way wrong and that God exists.

The initial experience was when I was looking at a landscape..it was a large vista which had mountains in the back, a river next to the mountains, a field before that with many trees and lush green grass everywhere, and there were birds and there was a gentle breeze..and as I was standing there admiring it, everything suddenly came into perfect focus..meaning, there was no background or foreground to the scene..I could see everything with the same sharpness and clarity at the same time..it was an impossible perspective, but it also went beyond that..as there was this lushness of life, and also love just radiating from all of this..as if it were all alive..and it was personal..I could feel there was personality in it. It brought me to a place of complete peace and harmony, to the point where I was glowing the whole rest of the day from it.

This is what initially clued me in that there is more going on than appearances would indicate. That was just the beginning though. I really started to learn that there was no such thing as coincidence.

So Lucent, you looked at a beautiful landscape and the thought cropped up in your head ( revelation you call it ) that oh my god did this!
From such a thought it then became easier for you to ignore the vast amount of evidence in suport of the theory of evolution and instead claim , as do all creationists, " god did it ".
Forgive me ( or not. I really don't care either way ) has it not occured to you yet that you are suffering from god delusion?

Belief is based upon faith. Faith without proof has to be stronger and is therefore more valid and not less. The rewards are indescriminately applied.

I don't doubt that people have received spiritual revelations of other deities, however, it all depends on the source they got them from. I have met some people who have received revelation that they themselves are deities. I have met people who channel spirits that say that they are aliens who are coming to fix the planet. There is a supernatural force of evil in the world which is leading people into deception, headed by Satan. Whatever is not the truth is a lie, and all lies comes from him.

The bible was confirmed true to me because certain facts about God were made known to me so that when I finally read the bible, I could see it was about the God I knew.

As far as why people don't worship God without hearing about Chrisitianity..many people around the world today are receiving dreams and visions of Jesus Christ without knowing anything about Christianity. The first video I gave you one is one such example.

That was definitely good enough for me to suspect that reality wasn't as it appeared, however, there was a lot more that happened that day, and next week or so. I am just giving you the gist of it. It got to the point where I had no choice but to throw up my hands and say God was real. You have to remember, I wasn't looking for such revelation..it's not like I wanted to believe God was real..that was the last thing on my mind.

I forgive you, and it wasn't just a beautiful landscape. The scene was supernatural, and impossible from a physical perspective. That was really just the gist of it, as I said above. God let me know without a doubt He is there..otherwise I would I still be agnostic to this day.
