Fuck You – Part I (History & Flexibility)
Perhaps one of the most interesting and most colourful words in the English language today is the word "FUCK". It is one magical word which just by its sound can describe pain, pleasure, hate, and love. Fuck, as most words in the English language, derives of German origin- in this case from the German word "FRIGON" meaning whoopee.

In language, "fuck" falls into many grammatical categories. It can be used as a verb, both transitive (John fucked Mary) and intransitive (Mary was fucked by John), and as a noun (Mary is a fine fuck), and as an adjective (Mary is a fucking beauty).

As you can see, there are not many words with the versatility of FUCK.

Besides its sexual connotation, this lovely word can be used to describe many situations such as:

Fraud: I got fucked by my insurance agent.
Dismay: Oh, fuck it.
Trouble: I guess I'm fucked now.
Aggression: Fuck You.
Passive: Fuck me.
Confusion: What the fuck?
Difficulty: I can't understand this fucking thing
Despair: Fucked Again!
Philosophical: Who gives a fuck?
Incompetence: He fucked up. (Also in a drug induced state)
Laziness: He's a fuck-off.
Displeasure: What the fuck's going on?
Rebellion: I don't give a fuck what he said.
Aeronautics: Who gives a flying fuck?

It can be used in descriptive anatomy: He's really a fucking asshole.
It can be used to tell time: It's five fucking thirty.
It can be used in business: How did I get this fucking job?
It can be maternal: As in mother-fucker.
It can be incestuous: As in mother-fucker.
It can be nautical: Fuck the Admiral.
It can be political: Fuck Clinton.
It can open the door to wonderful relationships: Let's fuck.

The mind fairly boggles at the many more creative forms of use for this most functional word. How can anyone be offended when you say "FUCK"?

So, today, tell someone- FUCK YOU!!!!!!!

I like it used in the middle of words (is a conjunction the correct term yeah?).

E.G:

OH MY-FUCKING- God/Zeus/Science/.

In-fucking-credible.

Abso-fucking-lutely.

Etc, etc.

Yeah, I know that swearing represents all kinds of bad things but there's no doubt in my mind, it can also be an amazing linguistic tool

You can always extend it with more fucks and the like of course...

OR even longer (perhaps too much):

Perhaps that's overkill? Heh.
