If a newbie is supposed to just keep his mouth shut then you should say so in your rules.
A newbie can open his mouth all he likes. You can even quote scripture in your explanations of your beliefs. Thing is, there has to be something else attached to the scripture.

One in particular proof of the Word of God and the veracity of the Bible was the prophecy about King Cyrus of Media-Persia. You won't believe it because it's in the Bible but it is a historical fact that cannot be denied. What you are saying is the same as if I quoted the definition of a word from the dictionary and you say thats not proof of the definition because you dont believe the dictionary. 
There is a big difference between "I believe in a god because such and such" and start a discussion from there "This is my copy/paste of scripture and you have to accept this as evidence".
Your bible stories no more real to me than the writings of Melville or Conan Doyle. If you want to put your scripture forward as evidence, you need to back up your claims, not just assume scripture is enough. Most of us here have read the bible, and if it wasn't convincing then it sure is not going to convince us now.

lol, I think so too, now it's unfortunate as I responded to his "evidence" in the thread in which it was presented. (as well as every link he provided)
