A team doesn't necessarily need to choose or say when they forfeit. For instance if a football team doesn't have enough players to start the game then they must forfeit. They may not necessarily want to forfeit, but they don't really have a choice.
I see it as though theists are the ones who have to forfeit, because if you take the amount of intelligence they have as the amount of players on their team, you'd end up with them forfeiting.

Living is not about winning or loosing and as theists are fond of saying "their god makes them win every time" trouble is they are on the decline. So the "game" is pointless really.
