This Makes Me Laugh

RE: This Makes Me Laugh
Ice cream is but a distraction from your prostitute! Unless of course you can come up with some sort of act you would do with an ice cream and a sex worker.
The entire page reads as a mammoth poe. kids creation, what a laugh. Do you think maybe those kids we had on here a week ago were using this as a reference? Tongue

I'm not sure it is a Poe. RationalWiki seems to think so, but other websites disagree. I used to doubt the "Dino Expedition" ( http://objectiveministries.org/creation/...ition.html ) was true but then I found a site by the tracker they hired that seemed to confirm it. ( http://stubbingwicke.googlepages.com/facts )

If it is a Poe, it's a very dedicated and superb one. It sure has had me fooled for several years.

yes, but that image mocks somebody's freedom of thought

You can't have freedom of thought / expression without the freedom to express your own thoughts on people's ideas. I take it you are against anti-Christian adverts too?

By "public places " I exclude any venue owned by the state, unless equal opportunity is given to all views.. Anywhere else, such as on a billboard for example is an exercise in freedom of speech.

Do you object because they might offend someone? I wasn't aware that there is any right NOT to be offended in Australasia, the US or UK most European countries. .

In fact, freedom of speech actually guarantees the right of dissent, including the right to offend. The excuse of I'm offended or "X group may be offended" is way of imposing values on others, and is often used as justification for censorship. In my opinion such controls should not be tolerated in a free society. I was appalled at the recent UN resolution banning any criticism of Islam. That pretty well destroyed what little respect I held for that bunch oh humbugs.

I think they actually voted against that ban. I know they voted against a blasphemy ban.
