Do you mean should Facebook be censored? Is it not already?

Pretty sure Facebook is a privately owned site. (like this forum) That means the owners may set any terms and conditions they wish within the law.Users may ask anything they like, but may demand nothing.

Facebook owners will continue to make their decisions based on their commercial best interests.

I do not support censorship and have gone right off Facebook.

Well, if they don't rage at you, what's the point?
Once in a while, it's good to do some trollan'. I do it frequently on youtube.
My comments page is filled with angry people.

True Galei, but no matter what you say or how well you craft your argument SOMEONE will get offended.

Freedom of speech means exactly that. People are free to say what they like, even if it is racist, sexist, anti-gay, etc. However, Facebook is a corporation, and as such has to abide by the laws of the countries it deals with, which is practically all of them. Ideally, they should allow sexist pages, but unfortunately there are governments out there which try to dictate people's morality.

It is the same reason we don't support free speech on these forums; although I'd love for anyone to be able to espouse their views, we simply can't risk it. It isn't an issue of us censoring speech, but rather an issue of us having to comply with various governments of the world.
