Shockingly I'm going to have to come down in Nap's camp on this one. Coffee will have to do when I'm out but at home all I want is good black tea. (You can't generally get both decent tea and sufficiently hot water out in the U.S.)
Bet I drink mine differently than Nap though. I want a trace of sugar and a splash of half and half. I know that isn't the way it's done in England but I find with half and half I need less volume of milk which tends to cool it off. Hell it probably tastes better too.

I have several responses but all of them belong to Area 69.

Coffee contains caffeine, which may increase the effectiveness of gastrointestinal uptake of some pain killers, especially in patients with migraine and headache medications. Caffeine itself does not have analgesic properties.
