Hey, calm down Vyck, you'll break your straps carrying on like that. I think you'll find that the emblem as used to symbolise West Mercia is considerably older than you'd like it to be. As such, 'they' are fully entitled to use it any damn way 'they' want. Capisce?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Simple is good. My username I've explained elsewhere; my avatar really needs no introduction, but just to be on the safe side, it's my passport photo.

My original username was EvidenceVsFaith, I chose it because I believe that evidence is the ultimate weapon against faith.
My username more recently is called DoubtVsFaith because I am using doubt as an alternative ultimate weapon against faith.
My avatar is just a photo of me that my brother has artistically edited.

Avatar was made by some awesome people at this forum, and I use it because it is awesome, it's 'me', and as a show of gratitude.
Username is my name, legally so when I bounce off to alaska and petition the change.

Sleepingdemon has been my username on forums and such for 12 years or so, I've tried others but I keep coming back to this one.. It suits me.
As for the avatar, Meh, I found it and liked it.
"In our youth, we lacked the maturity, the decency to create gods better than ourselves so that we might have something to aspire to. Instead we are left with a host of deities who were violent, narcissistic, vengeful bullies who reflected our own values. Our gods could have been anything we could imagine, and all we were capable of manifesting were gods who shared the worst of our natures."-Me
"Atheism leaves a man to sense, to philosophy, to natural piety, to laws, to reputation; all of which may be guides to an outward moral virtue, even if religion vanished; but religious superstition dismounts all these and erects an absolute monarchy in the minds of men." – Francis Bacon
