That's detestable. Our children rely on us to tell them the truth, and so many people just cloud their children's minds with falsities, and threats of hell. They have to be programmed. No one is born spouting scripture, and most kids are only read the PG parts of the bible.

I was not intending to raise them as atheists, but rather I had planned to introduce them to many cultures/beliefs so that when they are old enough, they will be able to make an informed decision in regards to what they believe about gods. Since their father pushed, I had no choice but to push back. Now my 7 and 5 year old insist that they do not believe in any gods. They are too young for me to call them atheists, but one of them has already been banned from their father's church.
