I can't actually remember the last time a person I considered a douchebag, and/or pig ignorant fool and/or hateful bigot, shared my opinion.

Invoking Godwin's law, it seems Hitler considered himself a great patriot and all round good egg.This opinion was shared by millions of Germans. Putting it in that context,the self perceptions of the very worst religious snake oil salesmen and their dumb arse followers comes as no surprise.

I dont' feel bad for him. I neither hurled insults toward him nor offered any rude suggestions toward him or anything thing like that. Still ignored my posts directed precisely at him.

I suppose he just wanted to be crass with people as opposed to an actual discussion.

People like him aren't actually interested in debate. They only want to antagonize and then play the victim when people get pissed. His immense hatred for all things non-Christian shows that he wasn't even here to spread the word of his religion as he claimed. His only purpose was to be a dick to bait people into insulting him.

If what you claim is true, then I knowingly and consciously reject that piece of shit god, and would rather burn in hell for eternity than spend a lifetime in so-called paradise, wherein there is no sex, drugs, rock n roll, or people who can fucking think for themselves.

Tell me, what will sex, drugs and rock and roll mean to you when you're 50, ugly, addicted, looking back on a lifetime of "partying" because you "thought for yourself," and your music is out of date? You think you can win against God and the plan He sets out for our lives, but you can't. You think your rebellious attitude has some nobility in eternity when it doesn't even have nobility here in this life.

Let's see, I'm 50 and I look back on a life well-lived so far. I have lots of friends, the affection and trust of children, and look forward to decades more. Thinking for myself has worked out great for me. I highly recommend it.

Reason. Reason, reason, reason. Don't you get it even yet? In the end we all "choose" what we believe. And we all believe, even atheists. You cannot look around you and say there is no God with reason. You say there is no God, because you want to party with sex, drugs and rock and roll. And you know it.

I don't think there's a God because no one can show me convincing evidence or construct an argument in favor of God's existence that isn't fatally flawed. Hundreds of arguments and they all have something wrong with them. That tells me something. And I'm not much for partying, AND most of the people I know who do party excessively believe in God. Believing in God is no barrier to partying. And you know it.

In what way was Christianity bad for you? Frankly, I would love to be brainwashed by Christianity. In fact, I would say that's my life's goal (real Christianity of course, not somebody's sectarian ideas of it).

I can't be the only child who was terrified of hell and wept for non-Christian friends and family members. That is psychological abuse.

Since I'm a fag (pansexual), I was taught that if I acted on my desires to be with a woman, I'd go to hell. Not so great for my self-esteem. Oh, and for the record, I didn't "choose" to be attracted to women any more than you (I assume) choose to be attracted to women.

So, thanks to Christianity, I spent a nice portion of my life hating who I was and fearing for my loved ones. If that's not "bad for me", I don't know what is.

But you evaded my question to you...what, exactly, are atheists doing to this country?

Oh, and what the hell is "real Christianity"? You do realize that all sects of every religion claim to be the real deal, right?

I care because I'm tired of reading in the news about some parents that stuck their baby in a microwave because they thought their deity told them to. If I can convince just one of those people different, I saved a life from a horrifying death.
