A question about the flood myth, baraminology, and Pangaea
RE: A question about the flood myth, baraminology, and Pangaea
That's it, isn't it? I don't know how it's reassuring to them, or meant to be persuasive to us, that God is a vile mass murderer.

Great! You're worshipping an evil monster. Congrats?

I am god.

I have flooded the world, I have rained fire and brimstone upon Sodom and Gomorrah, I have led devastating armies against millions, I have orphaned and widowed thousands, and I even let my own son be slowly tortured to death.

Now, you think I won’t send you to Hell?

Get down on your knees and worship me! Or else!
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

God has no place within these walls, just as facts have no place within organized religion.
-- Superintendent Chalmers

Science is like a blabbermouth who ruins a movie by telling you how it ends. There are some things we don't want to know. Important things.
-- Ned Flanders

Once something's been approved by the government, it's no longer immoral.

Yeah. Love and admiration aren't the only reasons you genuflect to someone. The Old Testament seemed to understand and embrace this, but modern Christians like to gloss over that.
