To everyone: do you pay to visit the beach in your country?

The beach is free, unless you want to park. Parking usually costs something, I think?
I am not certain, I never go to the beach even though it's only a couple miles away.

Hence why you don't go in the water. Also, the water is like 50 degrees so you wouldn't want to go in anyway. Our beaches are for looking at. So, except dangerous, it's also boring. Why would anyone visit a beach where you can't go in the water? I for one like to soak myself in the water from the moment I set foot on the beach till the last sunray. I don't swim (I can't), I just soak myself in the shallows.

I live on the south shore of Massachusetts. If I had to pay to use the beach I think I'd be in debt all summer.
