Quite right.  In fact, most of those that dedicate studies to the AC, tend to identify the papacy as the AC.  (http://www.amazingfacts.org/media-librar...antichrist) A false prophet who speaks for God and tries to change the laws of the world.  I've never studied it intensely, because everything surrounding it is allegorical and metaphorical.  It's really like applying predictions from Nostradamus.  I find it interesting, but not something I want to devote much time to.

In any case, it seems to me that persons showing a bit more humanism and flexibility on social issues are ultimately evil in the eyes of these people. Which says a lot more about the antichristers than it says about ther targets.

Some 30 years ago I found them interesting too. But back then, shortly after leaving the church, I was still looking for something supernatural and hadn't yet learned what fundamental bullshit Nostradamus had penned down. And, since this was long before the internet, I didn't have a clue, how many people added to Nostradamus' pile.

I am sure this was a topic of conversation for years before I got here, making this a silly question, but, here goes: why do we not think Prof is a poe?
