Which planet are you living on?
Because on the planet Earth millions of people sacrifice their lives to delusions all the time.
And not just religion, delusions such as fascism, communism, divine right of kings, all sorts of delusions.
One of my personal favorites is fresharianism, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inedia the particular delusion that you can derive all of your nutritional needs from air. Though followers of that one generally don't live very long for some reason.

I'm 100% sure that Muhammad (peace be upon him) did exist.
There are many biographies about him written by historians with great accuracy along with specific dates and events which occurred during his lifetime, such as where he was born, how he died, who were his wife and children, what battles he fought with the polytheists and idol worshipers, etc. He had family members and successors who knew him and all of this is recorded in history without any contradictions. We also know the exact location of his tomb, which is in this mosque (known as the Mosque of the Prophet). And there are volumes of hadith collections, which are essentially sayings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) on various Islamic topics.
He owned several swords and some of them are stored safely in museums.

In that sword, the words "Muhammad Rasullullah from Saad Abu Ubadah" are written on it in Arabic.

Just out of curiosity, what would actually happen if you didn't say 'peace be upon him' every single time you mention Mohammed, Jesus, Moses or whoever?
It really is quite annoying :S

Mo3 used to just put (pbuh) after each name. That was easier to read and clearly easier to type.

We put it there as a way of having respect for them. Nothing else.

I like the abbreviation also, but I wrote out the whole sentence since I thought some of you will not understand what the abbreviations stand for.
Having said that, next time I'll abbreviate them also, with "(pbuh)". But I won't overdo it.

Of course you are. You have decided that fairy tales are real and you believe in them.
However, Rayaan, that was not the point. the point was ( and remains ) that there is no contemporary evidence from the first 1/3 of the 6th century for anyone named mohammad. In much the same way as there is no evidence for any jesus in the first 1/3 of the first century. Nor is there any evidence for a "moses" in the Late Bronze Age...or before or after.
Are you starting to get the picture? These are all fictional characters which some con artist(s) created as a control mechanism over primitive peoples.

Because if you don't they'll rise out of the grave and come after you!
And you don't want a bunch of zombie prophets lurching around.

I already posted some of the evidences in my comments above. All those are historical facts.
Google the name Muhammad and you'll find plenty of information about him. Didn't you say that Google is your God? If so, then you should trust what it tells you.
