I saw a cat and a dog living together. You know it's the fucking end of times when that shit happens.

Heat isn't going to be a problem when the Sun winds down. There'll be heat to burn.
Incidentally, there's exactly as much Rapture™ going on here as I foretold. Prophet and loss?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Jesus thought soon meant within the lifetimes of the people he preached to, and that was thousands of years ago. Some believe a thousand years to us is a day to Yahweh, so soon could be when the sun dies one or two billion years from now. If humanity religion last that long, I'm sure there will be people on the news talking about how revelation was true right before we freeze to death from lack of the sun's heat. Oh, much longer. Though if we're dead billions of years before then, it makes little difference.
I wonder what it's like living in a fairy tale. I think the only way I'll ever find out is with mind altering drugs.
Things seem pretty standard here in Kent. No more demons and angels fighting than normal.
So, I take people have made a prediction for the Rapture for this week.
I seriously think we atheists should do more to capitalize on this lunacy, like the people that came up with the idea of having people pay to have atheists watch their pets when they get raptured.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.
Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped. Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses. Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder. Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids." (September 15, 2015 at 12:50 pm)Lucanus Wrote:(September 15, 2015 at 12:15 pm)Iroscato Wrote: Hah! Your name has anus in it. Speak for yerself, I don't intend on going anywhere.
That's some get-my-tinfoil-hat black-helicopters-are-coming reptilian-overlord grade of bugshit crazy there, JHC.
