Finally some common sense and decency. It makes more sense to let the tax cuts expire. If the greedy capitalists persist in their behavior they will be forced into compliance or overthrown and dismantled.

Forced into compliance for what and with what? You must not have a job cause the tax increases that hit 1-1-11 raise the rates for all income earners. The company owners will simply pass along the extra amount of taxes they have to pay in price increases.

But mostly the top 2%.

Quote:The company owners will simply pass along the extra amount of taxes they have to pay in price increases.
1. They don't control prices. The market does.
2. The owners are separate tax entities from their corporations. One has nothing to do with the other.

Better take some business classes again. The onwers of S Corp companies are the company. The company profits are their earned income. And the owners can control the prices. If the costs go up to all the owners, do you think many of them will take the hit to their bottom line or raise the price of goods sold or services provided? The market does have a big effect, but when the tax goes up for everyone, everyone in the market will acted similarly.

They will be forced into compliance with liberal values using force if necessary.

OK, I was thinking about the stock-owned corporations. These S-corps weren't that common when I was in business school. Still, my first point about how they don't control prices still applies. This is especially true when there's also overseas competition to consider.

Sometimes I wonder if you're a liberal poe or just very young & inexperienced.
