There is no surprise about theism, however. All God is, is a credible position. And this is also the true position by definition.

As far as acting like an agnostic goes, you cannot act like an agnostic, because you're in a perpetual state of belief/non-belief. This dis-proves your opinion mafia lady.

Do tell, my etymologically challenged chimp. What would be the difference, for example, between a gnostic Christian and an agnostic Christian? Or between an agnostic atheist and a gnostic atheist?

Crossless. Again, you are trying to confuse the terms. Perhaps it would be best if we stuck to your route, and decided not to debate the terms. Christianity is one position: everybody that is non christian burns in hell. This includes agnostics.

agnosticism - is a view that all truth values in the realm of metaphysical and religious claims such as whether or not god the defivine or the super natural exists are unknown or unknowable. 

Meaning either way they do not know until evidence is provided.

Atheism - a narrower since and the absence of the belief in god and deities.
