Descent was the shit - and the 3dfx-enabled version was... WOW. I think it'd still be fun if there were a modernized version (i.e. a native Windows version with matchmaking).

Yes but I only starter early on this year!

Too expensive for me to play the full version though so I quit it.

As I was watching that video, I thought to myself, "Now, there's a game they should remake."

I'm surprised at how well it appears to have held up. I'm actually surprised at how well a lot of these DOS games hold up over time.

That's because good gameplay beats eye candy any day of the week - and back when we had shit for graphics, the gameplay had to be there, the title was a bomb.
