Physically yes. But in terms of maturity he's played as a moody teenager I think.

After all, look at Donald Trump. He's an old man now but at the same time a spoilt child.

The dream sequence seems to suggest Rey was abandoned on jakku as a young child in the aftermath of ren turning against Luke and leading first order troops to slaughter Luke's other apprentices.   So the back story probably involve a good number years between them.

Unless E8 throws a curve ball and reveal Rey is not related to the skywalker clan after all, which would not be a bad idea, then the entire Star Wars series is just one long soap opera about the most persistently fucked up family ever to appear in any children's fantasy.

I don't take your opinions personally. What you think about me is irrelevant to my life. I get irritated at terrible movie/book critiques. If you're going to hate/dislike something, at least do it for good reasons and don't justify them with shitty ones.

Try and remember I spent several pages not arguing with him. As someone pointed out, instead of just writing the movie and the thread off, both he and Aractus spent several posts complaining. Meh.  That explanation is as unsatisfactory to me as the others.  

Kylo trained under Luke Skywalker.  Surely that means he's proficient with a lightsaber, correct?

I did not say he was inept. I am pointing out the obvious fact that kylo does not fight as well as vader/anikin did in E3. If E3 and Vader's battle with kenobi was a 10 kylo is fighting on level 4 at his best.

If you have ever practiced any martial art you know it take continual practice and dicipline. If you are going to master it you need a worthy sparing partner on your level or better.

So again who does kylo have? Remember good against 'remotes is one thing, good against the living...'
